moving again....

finally managed to uproot myself from my lazy butt to get down to exercising regularly on a daily basis now... if not i think i'll jus keep growing fatter and fatter by the day lor... hahaha.... also wanna keep myself fit and build myself back to my glorious days when i could still clearly see the defined lines of my muscles... hahaha...

well, dat's a road filled with difficulties and obstacles sia... hahaha... but now choice... gotta do it somehow... hehe.... i jus kinda hate seeing myself go on in such a state... and i'm seriously contemplating getting a second hand bicycle to replace the one i lost long long ago before i started riding motorcycles... wanna be the healthy me again who cycles everywhere within the neighbourhood and not one who hops onto the motorcycle and rides everywhere... too unhealthy liao... hahhaa....

amazing such words are actually coming out of my mouth... but dat's really how i feel n i'm pretty sure everyone's got a little bit of this in us somewhere, jus very much suppressed by the lazy side as mine has... hahaha...

so cannot be lazy k? muz get ur lazy bottoms moving too lo!! otherwise it'll be too unhealthy liao... hahaha... jia you everyone!!

i seriously wondered wat the big fuss abt the movie Lust Caution when it first aired in Singapore and the big fight over its censorship... haha.. only after last night then i realised wat it was all about...

yupz... gave my first R21 show to Lust Caution... i mus say it wasn't really dat bad a choice, given that there was seriously some good story plot and great directing and acting throughout the show... Yes, of course there's the sex scenes which were originally cut from the movie when it first aired here... but i muz agree that there were three scenes of it portraying different characters played by both leung abd tang... both of which they portrayed very well amidst all the "action"... (can't ind another better word) paiseh..

leung plays a character who speaks very little... aloof and forever on his toes because he's a traitor to his country... they wldn't give him the awards if he can't act properly right? hahhaa... but his emo scenes are seriously very convincing and very real... so real u could feel for him while watching the show... (not his butt ok?...)

well... i would recommend anyone with the interest for an artistic flick to go catch it... even if u do watch it alone... i didn't... but i realised asking anyone out to watch it would be wrong, so we siblings went together as usual... hahaha...

i was seriously thinking today... actually i've thought abt it for a long time and concluded, but writing it today.. i'm really very blessed... and i'mseriously grateful for the life i've been leading so far and for everything that has happened in my life... now i really understand the meaning of contentedness...

some might think that the ups and the happy moments are what we shd be content with, but instead, looking from the other angle, even the bad and unhappy moments are worth cherishing... because they are valuable lessons in life we can never learn elsewhere and we can only hope that by learning through these mistakes and experiences that we grow to become better ppl and better controllers of our own lives... only with the full contentedness can we really experience the happiness that we've been searching for all our lives... learn to accept watever it dished to u....live on, work ur way around it and learn from it all to become better you and me...

separated again...

jus only after reuniting with my laptop, now i have to part with my handphone for at least a week.. the hearing part spoilt liao, dunno why... then the network chip also like a bit cuckoo one... ppl's smses coming in in groups of 5 or 6 and then phone calls take forever to get thru or cannot get thru to me at all... so i jus decided there and then to let it go for a full check and servicing la... save me the trouble of gg again n again later, servicing part after part...

apparently the "i give u OSIM" programme that was recorded at home last monday will be aired next thursday on channel 8, 8.30pm... really wanna see how the sho turns out in the end... i saw a bit of the shots... i look horrible on tv... hahaha... partly cos i was wearing specs instead of contacts... cos of my eye infection which has stayed on for almost a month liao... haiz...

watever la... now trying all kinds of ways to get rid of it... hopefully it'll be ok soon la... at least before i get to malaysia at the end of the month next month... hahaha...

finally reunited....

finally reunited with my laptop... boy, got a lot of things waiting for me to handle... so troublesome... cannot get things settled cos my home desktop is also kinda dying too...

but i'm jus happy it's back... and now clearing it up alittle so dat will be easier to use....

took a break today from studying, cos got another 4 more days to go, for my last two papers... shd have enough time ba... will start working on it tmr onwards la... =)

halfway through liao....

today finished heat transfer... boy, were the profs trying to play tricks on us, first up was a fin question without fin spacing, and then heat transfer question given the heat capacity instead of specific heat capacity, then there was the pythagoras theorem which was very negligible too... hhahahaha....

now most worried abt deformable solids on wednesday... gotta really cramp some stuff up liao man... hopefully will be able to survive the wednesday paper la.. after that can take a bit of a rest and then work hard for my last two papers before gg for a well deserved and busy holiday.... hahaha... =)

time to start kicking it up!!

now in school, jus settled some of the stuff on the computer.. haha... life without laptop is really quite troublesome... cos i cannot do a lot of things i usually am able to settle at home, so i have to make my way down to school to get some of the thing done...

now dat i'm done, gotta go do some more revision and then prepare to make my way down for my first paper!! which is like at 5pm lor... hahaha... then best thing is next day got another paper at 0900!! watever...

now jus take everyday one at a time.. slowly clear them as they come and end it in a very fast two weeks... after that muz take a good break... cos it'll be 6 months of hard working in the shipyard of in ulu ulu tuas le... hahaha... but it'll be something i'll be looking forward to ba i guess... hahaha.. crazy right? well, dat's me...

start of it all....

even though exams start tmr, i'm still not panicky or anything... though i'm still quite far behind in my revision... hahaha... scary... well, now revising harder liao.. so hopefully can catch up a bit more before the papers la...

was watching tv yesterday and saw this very interesting story abt letting go,

an old monk and his young disciple was travelling together one day and came across a lady who was trying to get across a stream... the old monk offered to piggy-back the lady across and so they crossed the river.. the old monk let the lady off after crossing the river, but the young monk had questions abt the old monk's actions.. however he didn't raise them due partly to respect for the old monk.. it was only until they walked another 20 miles that he couldn't hold out any longer and asked the old monk why he as a monk carried the lady on his back.

The old monk replied to the young disciple, only telling him dat he let the lady off after crossing the stream, but instead, the disciple carried her on his back for the whole 20 miles..

it's interesting how we always like to carry unnecessary baggage in our minds after certain things have happened, even though it can no longer affect us anymore.. sometimes it's jus these thoughts dat affect our minds so much that it translates into physical actions that actually affect us in reality.. having been thru it before i realised how stupid i was to have let all these thoughts get the better of me and control me for so long and so negatively..

Life without my laptop..

These next few days to two weeks shd be quite peaceful for my studies being without my laptop ba.. Haha.. Sent it for repairs at eight flags in school today after the hard disk n main board went crazy, needing replacements..

actually shd have jus asked them to change a new laptop for me sia.. Haha.. Then wld have saved me some trouble liao.. Haha..

Now shd be able to concentrate better ba.. Haha..

unproductive day

didn't get any reading done today, instead was busy making calls here and there to settle the surprise for mum next monday and also get my medical checkup done in school and tried to get my laptop fixed while it's guarantee is still valid...

got selected for a show on channel 8 giving gifts to loved ones... well, the gift is a big one for that matter, at least i feel it's big, given it's price and choice, getting it is really something i'm really grateful for...

the rest of the details i will post here once everything is over on monday la... hope everything goes fine...

ok day....

i shd say dat today was a pretty productive day and a good late start to things, but not so much for my laptop... i really think it's time to send it for repairs liao... which i forsee will be quite a bomb sia... haiz... hopefully wun have to blow too much la...

now watching a little bit of tv, later gg to carry on and will rest liao... tmr gotta go back for lessons and long day....

TMS Open House!!

interesting and tiring day today being in TMS for it's open house... managed to catch quite a few of my teachers and get their contacts and everything... but it's a pity some are retiring and some are leaving... so no choice...

but wat i hope to be able to do is organise something small for some of these teachers so that students from our batch can gather to catch up and meet the teachers who taught us 10 yrs ago in TMS... hopefully dat dream will come true la... once i can verify with the teachers then i'll start spreading word around liao...

hopefully can do something nice... and maybe even organise a homecoming for our batch ppl...

watched some of the performances by the students today n with Mdm Wan asking me wat differences i can sense in the school now compared to our times, it was really hard to put in words... but seriously, jus as wat we learn in systems, no matter wat u do or wat u add or wat u remove, there's always give and take... therefore we muz continually seek out the ever elusive balance for between academics and an all rounded education and development for the child...

well, we managed to break even jus nicely selling our ice cream and soft drinks.. hahaha... which is not so bad and not so good seeing how the situation goes.. hahaha... well, can't ask for too much la... as long as nv make loss can liao... hopefully in future we can get something dat's more lucrative to do la... =)

tmr's the first sunday dat i'm free in a long long time liao... time to have some rest and then pia like crazy tmr for the entire day le la... too much to cover too little time... hahahha...

interesting....

yesterday i was dreading my presentation today but after it was over it felt kinda fun... cos it's not everyday u get to present ur topic in front of the entire lecture theatre of people... and realised how unprepared i was... hahaha...

and watching other people from different schools presenting their topics really opened my eyes to many brand new styles of presentations the engineering schools do now usually see.... hahaha... there was a talk show format, and other topics that were close to heart and very interesting.. hahaha... very nice day spent at the elective lecture...

somehow i dun regret taking up this module actually... hahaha... =)

but now damn tired, cos went for group tuition with all the kids for one last time, clearing everything up, making guesses and then finally bidding farewell to a bunch of great kids whom i can really say i watched change from the day i first met them... conversing with them also gave me an insight to wat it's like being a teenager these days under these environments...
